Our Story
How did an online store with Sámi handicraft, wooden cups and other traditional products come about? This may sound unconventional, and the story behind everything is also quite special.
We are a Sámi reindeer herding family living in Tromsø. Our ancestors have been living and working with reindeer for many generations. In recent years, we have also invited guests to visit our reindeer farm to explore the Sámi culture.
Many of our guests have asked for something to keep as a memory of their visit. Therefore, we decided to ask Sámi families across the Nordic countries if they could help us. As a result we have created the Sámi Gift Shop. Thanks to many talented Sámi handcrafters, we now have a range of beautiful, handmade products from the Nordics.
